Online Registration & Fee Remittance for Sem VI & Sem IV Examinations

The last date for online registration for B.Tech Sem. VI and Sem IV Examinations June 2010 is 15 th July 2010 . The examination fee, ( for regular students) @ Rs.265/- per candidate should be remitted to the College office latest by 15 th July 2010. For furthur details see the notice board.

B.Tech Admission under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and Consequent General Seats

 

Applications are invited for admission under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme of AICTE for Women, Economically Weaker and Physically Handicapped Students.

Branches Offered : AEI, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, ME

No. of Seats : 6 Seats in each Branch, (Women – 3, Economically Weaker – 2, Physically handicapped – 1).

Eligibility : Meritorious students whose family income does not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakhs per annum.

Quantum of Scholarship : Full Tuition Fee (Rs. 75,000/-) and Refundable Deposit (Rs. 1,00,000/-) Waived.

Consequent General Seats will also be filled up form the applicants subject to their willingness and availability of Seats.

Application forms can be had from the Admission Office on payment of Rs. 300/- or downloaded applications can be sent along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- favouring ‘Jyothi Engineering College', payable at Thrissur.

Those who are already admitted in the college can also apply to be considered against this scheme. They should forward an Income Certificate from the Village Officer together with a copy of the Allotment Letter issued from the college. Application Fee is not required.

1st year classes start on 14th July

First year B.Tech classes in our College will commence on Wednesday, 14 th July 2010, with an induction programme spanning for three days.

The details of the programme will be published later. Meanwhile, we request all the students to report to the College along with their parents at 9.30M on 14 th July.

Lunch will be provided to the students and parents on that day.

For S1&S2 regulae exam days: As has been running for the lasr two dyas ie bus nos 2, 3, 11, 7, 6, 9 and No 12 will be operating

For S1& S2 supplementary exam days; only Kuriachira Bus will be operating

The University has called for on line registration of applications for Sem. VIII Examinations June 2010 and the last date for the same is 5 th May 2010 . The examination fee, as given below should be remitted to the College office latest by 28 th April 2010 and the office copy portion of the chalan should be handed over to the respective class tutors. The on line registration will be carried out by the tutors concerned. However, any information or document that may be required in this connection should be provided by the students.

Fee details :

a) AI, CSE, ECE,EE, and IT branches - Rs.250/-

b) ME branch - Rs225/-

Please note that the students who fail to register on line by the stipulated date will lose the opportunity for registration for the examination.

The Mid-term exams scheduled for 02-03-10 of S8 CSE, ECE & EEE will be held on 04-03-2010, of S8 IT will be held on 05-03-2010 and that of S1& 2 on 06-03-2010

Regular students for BTech Sem III/ Sem V Examinations Dec 09 may collect Hall Tickets from the respective Departments. Candidates registered for supplementary examinations, including Lab Exams, should download the hall tickets on thier own and get them attested before the commencement of the examinations.

All candidates are reminded that they should carefully keep the Hall tickets with them and produce them compulsorily in the Examination Halls.
