Infrastructure

Jyothi Engineering College incorporates top class infrastructure with three lakh Sq. Feet of build up area. The Campus contains various facilities like Administrative Block, Academic Blocks (Eastern & western), Mens and Ladies hostel, an extension counter of the Federal Bank, a co-operative store to cater the needs of the students a canteen and a gymnasium.

Instructional Facilities

All classrooms are provided with overhead projectors while seminar hall is provided with an LCD projector. The computer lab is equipped with multimedia facilities and provide networking. In addition to this a 1Mbps dedicated leased line optical fibre internet connection. Due to the importance that the college attaches to the all round development of an individual, counseling and personality development programs are held on regular bases. The college also conducts educational tours every year. There is also at most importance to industry – institute interaction. There is also an effective group tutor system in our college. The college has well equipped labs and workshops with latest equipments. The computerized college library is well stocked and regularly updated

Other Facilities

The College provides adequate facilities for sports which includes Football, Cricket, Badminton and volleyball Courts. There is also an indoor recreation centre which includes table tennis, Carroms and a television which acts as a source of Entertainment. There is a 125 KVA and a 62.5 KVA back-up generators to provide efficient power back-up. The campus also houses a Substation with a 400 KVA transformer. The College bus provides transportation to the students and the staff members form nine different places in and around Thrissur and Ottapalam. The campus also provides water coolers which make the students able to beat the heat with a sip of cool water.
